How do I reinstall backup files

😁 My technical expertise is on the lower end compared to most of you.  My hard disk crashed and I lost everything.  Trying to recovery my data that was backed up by Kaspersky.  Since I am no longer using Kaspersky for obvious reasons is there an app available that can restore my backup files?

I wasn't aware Kaspersky had a software component that backed up files to the cloud. Which Kaspersky software did you have installed?

Welcome!

1. *Only* Kaspersky Plus & Premium have the Backup and Restore feature. Read: About Backup and Restore. 
2. @tmh, was the data being backed up to Dropbox cloud? 
3. There's Kaspersky Restore Utility - depending on how the data was backed up. This needs to be run as *Admin*. Read: Restoring data from a backup copy using Kaspersky Restore Utility.
