How can I stop being pestered to activate and/or upgrade Kaspersky VPN?

I do not want to use Kaspersky VPN. I have signed up for 27 months with NordVPN so I'm not going to change my mind any time soon.

I have tried stopping the process from starting but yet it is stil there. And every so often it pops up with a pester.  No big deal, easy to close.  I just don't want if coming up at all.

How can I fix this so I get no further prompts?

Welcome to the Kaspersky community. 

To disable notifications from Kaspersky VPN Connection, please do the following:

1. Open the Kaspersky VPN Connection application
2. In the main interface, click on the gear icon (settings)
3. Scroll down to the → Notifications section
4. Uncheck the following boxes:
5.         → Notify when VPN is automatically activated as soon as a Wi-Fi connection is established.
           → Notify when VPN cannot be turned on automatically once Wi-Fi connection is established
           → Receive special offers, recommendations and news from Kaspersky

        
After the procedure, the VPN application will not display any notifications.

Thank you. I also stopped the app from running at startup (which I thought I had done) and deselected the Addtional boxes (improve quality and marketing).

Sorry for the delay in replying. I've been away for a few weeks.
