Hotmail Certificate on outlook being rejected

Outlook is keeps rejecting the Kaspersky AV certificate for Hotmail. Despite installing the certificate, it keeps flagging up every few minutes.

Welcome!

  1. Please confirm (you're) region / location is *not* USA? 
  2. Make sure the KTS activation code is saved in (your) MyKaspersky account, Subscription tab. 
  3. Create a System Restore Point
  4. Clear SSL State in Internet options.
  5. Uninstall KTS, using Windows, Uninstall OR change a program. 
  6. Shutdown the computer using Shutdown, not Restart, power ON the computer by pressing the power button, log-in. 
  7. Download Kaspersky Plus: https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads#update-product
  8. Install Kaspersky Plus. 
  9. At the *end* of the successful Kaspersky Plus install, make sure you've signed into the Kaspersky Plus application with the same email address that (you) use to sign into (your) MyKaspersky account - so it synchronises with (your) MyKaspersky account. 
  10. Recheck the original issue?

Hi Flood,

I have recently updated to Kaspersky Premium which installed itself over the previous Kaspersky Total security. The issue still persists.

Thank you for posting back & the information!

  1. The 'Internet security warning' is not a Kaspersky alert. 
  2. *IF* Kaspersky is contributing to the issue - installing *new* Kaspersky software on top of the *old* software is not a good idea, that's why we detailed the steps to take in our previous reply. 
  3. Let's back-up a bit, provide: the Windows OS *version & build*, in Windows Search, type WINVER, select the WINVER app, post back the information shown please? 
  4. Is Hotmail / Outlook accessed via an installed application OR a web browser? 
  5. The Hotmail / Outlook version
  6. IF Hotmail / Outlook is accessed via a web browser - does the same issue repeat if another browser is used, Firefox - for example - or the web browser is run in Private / Incognito mode? 
  7. In Kaspersky Reports - are there any alerts / events - that match the Hotmail / Outlook  'Internet security warning' OR any Hotmail / Outlook events / alerts - at the same date / time?
