Since the 12th of this month, Kaspersky's battery consumption has skyrocketed on my Samsung A-52S mobile device. On September 11, daily consumption was 1.2%; September 12: 76.5%; September 13: 59.1%; September 14: 72.4%; today it is already at 21.5%. 

What could be causing this?

Please provide version of K. product installed.

 

I guess all the Android / Google / Samsung Store updates in Your SA52 are up-to-date.

Kaspersky Premium - version 11.125.4.14396

Yes, I have all active Android/Google/Samsung updates.

I uninstalled the Kaspersky app and reinstalled it.

Before enabling the Wi-Fi Security Checkup feature, battery consumption was normal. After enabling it, consumption increased exponentially.

I disabled the Wi-Fi Security Checkup feature.

That option Wi-Fi Security Checkup is actually in Kaspersky VPN settings. I have also enabled in Profile -> Settings.

 

I have a Samsung A54 5G (Android 15) + Kaspersky Premium 11.125.4.14396-1, and I have enabled that feature in my KVPN but in Ask (1st option of the 3 available), and did not notice that high battery drain 🤔
