kaspersky free help pls

hello there. so i have been using kaspersky free for more than 2 years now without any issues, but today, after i reinstalled windows, it doesnt seem to work anymore.

i have downloaded and installed the "kaspersky4win202121.19.7.527en_46538" file that i got from the kaspersky free - global download option and it asks me to sign in. when i do type my email and password (my kaspersky account data), it ends up with this thing :

any ideas what im missing/doing wrong? (i did restart the pc)

Where did You get that installer? Also, where are You from?

hey, the installer i got from https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads/free-antivirus (i did select the "global" option)

and im from Romania.

Hum but that link it's the global version 🤔

 

It seems there is no specific KFree installer for Your country region, maybe this is the cause, even if it worked for You for 2 years 🤔

 

What, if You create a new K. Account with a different address? Or in Your My Kaspersky account settings, try to unlink the previous KFree device, and try again.

hey, so i guess i managed to solve the issue somehow. the thing is that i had 3 devices (which in reality was only one) connected to my kaspersky account and it didnt want to accept a 4th one (again, i have only 1 device which im protecting with kaspersky free, but it did register as a different one each time i performed a new windows install). i did remove to old devices, thus making room for this new one and it seemed to work, its active now.
