Files keep reverting to "read only"

I paid for my copy of Kaspersky two days ago. Since then, all files on my computer are reverting to “read only.” When I attempt to trouble shoot, I get a prompt that says “your IT administrator has limited access to some areas of this app, and the item you tried to access is not available. Contact IT helpdesk.”

This is my own PC - I am the helpdesk. 

Trouble shooting again online says that it is my third party anti-virus that is causing this issue and that I should delete? 

I’m using Windows 10

Unfortunatly I tried the methods listed in the link. I've completed a restart and the issue still exists.

And are you tried Solution 2?
Also when you installed kaspersky then you have problems?

You can try restore your windows (restore point if are enabled and creating).. If you dont know how let me know  i will clarify it.
