Failed to resolve the network addresses of device

I’m currently facing a problem installing the network agent remotely from the Kaspersky security center (12). It keeps showing the error “Failed to resolve the network addresses of device: …….. No more distribution point have been found.” on Windows machines and “ Operating system is not supported” on Mac.

I’ve recently setup a gateway and a distribution point and in the connection profile It check the dns that the machine is using to deiced whether to connect directly to the KSC server or whether to connect via the gateway and everything seems to be working fine, till today I tried to install The Network agent on few machines and keeps showing the error above.

 I can ping both the DNS and the Domain controller from the KSC server and vice versa.

Any I idea what might be causing the issue?
