failed to connect to administration server kaspersky after backup restore

Hi,

I have re-installed Kaspersky Security server 11, and worked fine

After successfully restore for old data backup.

I can’t open the administration server and it gives below error:

“Connection to Administration server has failed : failed to establish connection with the remote device (location: http://localhost:13291) , connection has failed”

Kindly help.

Hi,

first thing is checking if all the involved services are up and running. Then you can dive into the system event logs (those related Kaspersky, of course) looking for specific warnings\errors.

It might be a problem related to the corruption\inconsistency of the backup you’ve just restored.
