The existing 4.1 is running well but during the upgrade to 5.0.

an error message was prompted.

Anyone could help. Thanks!

Faced the same problem...

in my case, the problem was in the UEFI bootloader

when communicating with those support, it was announced that such an error occurred during the update when the product was installed in a virtual environment and had a UEFI bootloader ... virtual machines with a BIOS bootloader were updated without any problems.

however, in my case it was an ordinary (non-virtual machine) server...

but when transferring the bootloader to Legacy mode (well, by installing 4.1 and restoring from backup, I hope you did them before updating), the upgrade to 5.0 went without problems ...

can you tell me what server you are using? (hardware specifications)

Or is it a virtual machine?

@ElvinE5 thanks for your reply.

Yes, my 4.1 is running on a VM and yes, it uses UEFI for the bootloader.

Therefore, based on the information you provided.

I have created another VM that uses legacy mode... different error occurred here~

unfortunately I can't give you any advice... contact CA directly to get a response directly from those support developers and engineers

Ya, I had raised a case in CA already
