Exporting reports without any Limitation in KSC

Dear Community 

 

We confirmed that we cannot get reports for more than one month and cannot increase the number of entries in the report; if we limit entries to 150000, the reports are displayed; if we increase the number of entries to 30000, the reports do not load; and we have configured the event repository to hold more events for up to 180 days; please see screenshots and errors.

 

We would like unlimited entries in reports and any reports that contain information for six months; there should be no problems with that.

Hello Tahmeed702,

this is an Issue based on many Settings. First of all the Events in as Example KES Win are stored 30 Days so after this time they will be deleted and additional are not available in the Database. If you would like to have this Events stored longer you first have to change the Setting in KES Policy Events.

Increasing the whole Events in KSC which are stored is not recommended because it is blowing up the Database when you're KSC Server is generating more Events than the Maximum set. A better way is to disable not important Events or informative Events which are not necessary that they are not stored and increase some Events which should be stored longer time. If this not reach you can increase the whole Number of Events which could be stored in the DB.
