Good Afternoon Colleagues

I hope you are doing well . I have a Linux server on cloud that needed to be connected to Local Kaspersky Security Center through Connection Gateway. The connection Gateway is located in DMZ. Kindly find my below notes:

  • The customer has Fortinet Firewall.
  • Connection has been failed on port 13000 when run klnagchk command on Linux server.
  • I enabled port 14000 on Administration server connection settings.
  • I used KLMover command on both connection gateway & Linux server to switch the Administration Server port to 14000
  • I run klnagchk command again on Linux server but failed again with the error attached.

So kindly the advice the root cause and the solution to this issue.

Best Regards

Allow all ports used by kaspersky from Fortinet Firewall.

Check ping connectivity between KSC and Linux Workstation

Run command from KSC check do the workstation listen through port 13000 and 14000

Test-NetConnection -ComputerName <IP_address> -Port <port_number>

 Good Afternoon @Tahmeed702

Thanks for your replay . Kindly find my below notes:

  • Ports 13000 & 14000 are allowed through Fortinet.
  • Ping between LINUX workstation and KSC is not applicable as KSC located in the local network & LINUX server located in the cloud.
  • Telnet on port 14000 from LINUX Server to Connection Gateway is ok & Telnet from Connection Gateway to KSC on port 14000 is ok.

Best Regards

then you can ping from both host , a ping can typically travel from one host to another even if they are connected through a connection gateway. If there is not ping connectivity then the connection is not properly established
