Dear Support,

For some unkown reason, kaspersky stopped working on a computer so we decided to uninstall it and then reinstall it.

During installation, we have the following error:

Quote

Error 1404. Could not delete key \SOFTWARE\KasperskyLab\protected\KES\profiles. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact technical support.

Needless to say that we are admin on this computer and we have tried installing with admin privileges.

We have also use the kav removal tool. There is no trace of the key above.

What can we do ?

Thank you for your support.
