Duplicate file erasure questions

Having just downloaded Kaspersky Standard it tells me that it deletes duplicate files.

Does it do this automatically, or does it ask me first, as occassionally I need the same file in two folders?

If it does it automatically, how do I turn off this function?

Welcome!

Open Kaspersky Standard, on the left-hand side, select Performance, scroll down, select Clean up your disk space. 

Reading the documentation: Duplicates, there doesn't appear to be any way to turn it off?, having said that, we've had the app installed since October & it's never tried to delete our duplicates.... 

?Even tho it's showing duplicate files, the app still gives you the choice to delete or not - the ultimate decision is yours?
