Hi - wondering if anyone else gets similar issue of devices listing multiple times in the Kaspersky Security Center, with the copy usually having a random number suffix added?

Example snippet of one device duplication:

The device copies can also be split between the Managed and Unmanaged devices lists, despite being the same device.

(We are still currently running v.12.2 of the Security Center, but plan to update this to 14.)

Thanks Demiad.

So is switching from Ethernet to WiFi perhaps seen as a "change of network card"?  That's the only suggested cause that could match.

The suggestion there to just delete the duplicates (leaving one original version) is helpful to confirm our actions to tidy the list.  I was a bit worried about doing that in case it caused any further problems.

@COPE IT, No, multiple network adapters don't usually cause this problem.

The new device object like "devicename~158264" will only appear when the "Device ID" is changed after a hardware change.

You can view the ID by the command "klnagchk.exe": https://support.kaspersky.com/ksc/14.2/3912
