Download link for SVM image v6.4

Hello,

can someone tell me the URL to download the .OVA image of the light agent protection server version 6.4? I'm not very familiar with the KASPERSKY HYBRID CLOUD SECURITY portal (https://www.kaspersky.com/small-to-medium-business-security/downloads/virtualization-hybrid-cloud). The latest version I managed to find somewhere is the archive ksvla-svm_vmware-vsphere_6.3.2.493_mlg.zip

Kind regards, Lukas

Dear @VLu008,

Thank you for reaching out. Could you please share more details regarding your specific deployment architecture requirements?

If you are using VMs that are managed by an on-premises KSC, you can proceed with a standard deployment architecture — i.e., installing Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows (KES) 12.12 on all workstations, provided each VM has a minimum of 4 GB RAM.

Even if you have purchased Hybrid Cloud Security for Enterprise, it is not mandatory to use Light Agent mode simply because the endpoints are virtualized. Light Agent deployment tends to be more complex to implement and manage, so unless there is a specific requirement driving that choice (e.g., resource optimization at scale or agentless-style architecture needs), the standard full-agent deployment is generally the more practical option.

Please let us know your environment details, and we would be happy to recommend the most suitable approach.

Best regards,
Ahnaf Tahmeed

Hello and thank you.

Already solved, I was trying to find the file ksvla-svm_vmware-vsphere_6.4.3.908_mlg.zip and it took me a while to find my way around the download portal. The correct section for downloading SVM servers = Kaspersky Security for Virtualization | Light Agent, followed by the link for the SVM image package (OVA format). I currently downloaded SVM version 6.5 (ksvla-svm_vmware-vsphere_6.5.0.1025_mlg.zip).

Best regards, Lukas
