I have used Kaspersky security product for many years and currently have a 10 device version of Premium.  My subscription will run out in 5 days and I have purchased (via Amazon) a 5 device version as I didn't get the choice of renewing anything other than a 10 device version.  I have added it to my subscriptions and it is there marked 'not in use'.  How do make use of it on my remining 5 devices (2 Windows 11 and 3 Android)?  Do I have to wait for my present subscription to run out?

@Fergus

Your subscription for 5 devices from Amazon is currently considered as ‘Reserve code’ and should become active when your current license expires.

Thank you.  I was surprised that going to buy from Kaspersky directly I only got the choice of 10 devices.

Some what along the same lines is that I recently purchased the new 'Premium' with 10 device protection for 3 years. I've previously held a 2 year, 3 device subscription that is up for renewal. When I tried to renew, is said that my payment information needed to be updated. It's weird because I was able to buy the Premium subscription with the same card. So, it's my understanding that 'Total' security is no longer supported.

However, I have 14 more days on that subscription, but can't seem to pull up the new subscription on my app. My old subscription is under my gmail and has both of my parents phones (I downloaded it for them). The new Premium subscription however, is under my other email, but still shows my old subscription as well.

I've tried to download the Premium subscription to my phone, but I'm wondering if because it's still logged in under my gmail that it doesn't show my new Premium term OR...as you mentioned, I have to wait until my old subscription expires in order for it to show up on my phone app? It doesn't quite make sense though, because when I bought the Premium, it says it's active as soon as it's purchased...so wouldn't that overwrite the old subscription?

I'm sorry if this is all confusing. I'm trying to be clearer, but I'm quite stumped.

I can't change my Premium email to the one that has my old subscription either, thinking it would sync both subscriptions on my phone and then once the old one expires, the new one just takes over and 'Total' goes defunct?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @SinghO

Welcome!

  1. IF Kaspersky software is purchased from a *Kaspersky website* the following applies:  Your subscription starts the day of purchase and will automatically renew each term so your protection is uninterrupted. Kaspersky will email you a reminder about the upcoming charge, and you will be charged at the *undiscounted price* (which is subject to change) before the next subscription term begins. You can cancel anytime - then the paid subscription will continue to run until expiry & will not renew ->  ReadHow your subscription works.
  2. "'Total' security is no longer supported", yes! correct! -> that's the *original* Kaspersky Total Security, Kaspersky's *new* Kaspersky Premium *also* has Total Security in the *name*. Kaspersky Premium Total Security is supported. Read:  Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium - info & FAQ, by Danila T.image.thumb.png.e87793a1bf2ab86b7a8522764401eaeb.png
  3. Because there appears to have been an initial problem with the transaction & a second Gmail address was used - there's now two active subscriptions: (A) the existing subscription with 14 days remaining, associated with your original Gmail address & your Mum & Dad & (B) the new subscription, associated with (your) other Gmail.
  4. To protect (your) privacy & security, the Kaspersky Community Forum has no access to (your) private information/account/records, only Kaspersky Customer Service https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts - can assist; please contact them, ask them to place a *hold* on the *new* subscription so it *activates* after the *original* subscription expires; fill in the template as shown below:
  5. IF (you) wish to cancel Auto-renewal, KCS will assist, ask them to do so.
  6. IF there's a problem with Gmail addresses that also needs resolving so only *one* Gmail address is used for (your) MyKaspersky account, ask KCS to assist with that too:image.thumb.png.7f9c992772d53bfacd749dd5673f031e.png

Thank you🙏
