Greetings to the entire Kaspersky community ! My question below.

The logs of the scan performed with the portable Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool, includes paths corresponding to the hidden Windows10 Recovery and Boot Efi partitions ( \\?\Volume{GUID1}\ \\?\Volume{GUID2}\ ), as well as specific files present in these partitions ( …\EFI\Microsoft\Boot\bootmgfw.efi ).

If possible, I would like to know if Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool includes the Anti-Rootkit and Firmware Scanner functions described in this page and if the related scanning patents are implemented.

Hello @KasperGL, Welcome.

On the page you linked you will find at the bottom:

The Firmware Scanner is used in all our major products (Kaspersky Anti-Virus, Kaspersky Internet Security, Kaspersky Total Security, Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business, etc).

This also applies to the 'Virus Removal Tool'.
