Hi FLOOD, Since my post, I have done the following:
  1. updated iDrive version;
  2. granted privileges on Win firewall (funny - never had to do that before. I have been working with this backup app for more than 2 years);
  3. excluded iDrive exe file on Kaspersky;
  4. run the backup manually.
Result: backup succeeded. So, problem solved. Thanks for your help.
