I found that dischord continues to have the audio and microphone open after the time limit has been reached. The screen is blank so he can't type, but can still talk and listen to his friends. Please help.

I also would like to see a monitor on this site.

• Unfortunately KSK does not terminate applications when device use time expires.
• In October 2019, Kaspersky Technical Support advised: 

quote

• KSK’s current features unfortunately do not include the capability to also terminate active apps when device access is blocked. We shall wait and see if the new suggested features get implemented in future versions.

That was 10 months ago, there’s been no progress😖

• Discord monitoring is available for Discord app installed in both Windows & Android.
• Additionally, it’s possible to limit the time duration Discord is used but not when, so for example, atm, a child can be given permission to use the app for 15minutes daily, managing when, in the 24hrs, those 15minutes are used, isn’t available. 
• Additionally in Windows, when the KSK Discord permitted time expires, Discord terminates, this is not the case for Discord running in the Android environment.

Hello Flood,

 

She is using a Lenovo Thinkpad and it is Windows OS.  I think it is Windows 10 but not sure.  She is using chrome to run it  I believe. I don't think it is an app.

• Unfortunately, atm, when Discord is accessed via browser, the only KSK options available are: Allow or Forbidden, however, if a child regards access to the internet as a birthright & not a privilege, you could forbid Discord, which would mean, when your daughter wishes to access Discord, she’s required to request access, at which point, you may choose to grant the request, delay the request and or refuse the request

 

 

• If you do not wish for her to be using Discord until 5am, control Discord to suit what you think is reasonable access at reasonable times of day/night.

• Because the solution is a workaround; you’ll need to manually block and allow, for example, if you’ve now just granted Allow permission, that will continue until you again select Forbidden. 

Hopefully Kaspersky will eventually develop KSK so the process is parent friendly🤔
