Databases extremely out of date...

Kaspersky is telling me my "Databases extremely out of date", when I hit update, it goes to 100% but doesnt update and still tells me Databases extremely out of date. How do I fix this ?

IF (you're) living in the US, please read: Guide on Kaspersky software availability in the United States, Database update and connectivity to Kaspersky Security Network (KSN) cloud service: "Kaspersky will be prohibited from providing product updates to US customers, including antivirus signature and codebase updates. Security apps will be disconnected from Kaspersky Security Network, which will limit the operation of some product features."

  3. Update (your) installed Kaspersky software to the latest version v21.20:

so basically I have a subscription to something that no longer works.. nice

used my VPN to connect to another Country other than the US(in this case, England) and then it allows the update

Kaspersky products were banned last year in the USA, that's why You can't update directly.
