Database Using too much RAM and system Freezes

We have a scenario where the SQL server is utilizing too many resources, and KSC freezes regularly. How can we optimize this situation and run KSC smoothly? We're using Microsoft SQL Server 2016, and KSC manages 2500 workstations. I tried performing the "Admin server maintenance" task and enabled shrink database. We are running "Malware scan" and "update task" on all workstations using a single task.
