Convert KSC to a secondary server

Hi,

    I have two separate administration servers in two offices with different networks. Now, I want to make one of these servers secondary in a hierarchy. However, I want to manage all the clients separately like now. I want to ease license management. Can I convert one of my current server to secondary of the other one? Are there any considerations to be taken into account in advance?
