I have Windows 10 - 64 bit and Kaspersky Internet Security

Recently Kaspersky Internet Security blocks updates of Chrome and so I have to exit Kaspersky in order updates to be functioning.

Regarding Firefox I have to exit Kaspersky, otherwise nothing works (no updates and no possibility to visit any website).

In a past topic of Kaspersky forum I saw somebody for the same problem gave the following solution for this issue:

  1. Disable Self-Defense via Settings -> General
  2. Exit Kaspersky product, on the Windows Taskbar or hidden icons, right-click the Kaspersky icon, select Exit.
  3. Go to folder C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP21.3\ and rename the folder Report to Report1
  4. Start Kaspersky Internet Security.
  5. Enable Self-Defense.

So, I checked C:\Program Files\Kaspersky lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 21.3\

but there is not available any Folder Report in order to rename it.

Thus, pls advice which folder do I have to rename ???

Hello @EGL, welcome.

Can you please check the paths again?
The post asks for 'C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP21.3\',
You write about 'C:\Program Files\Kaspersky lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 21.3\'.

These are two different directories, both exist but only the first one is the correct one.
In this directory you will find the subdirectory 'Report'. Only rename this one, never rename another one!

The 'ProgramData' folder is hidden by default. You must first make it visible.
