i would like to disable this feature, and i am supposed to be able to do this under account settings, but the option to deselect is grayed out.

please advise how i can disable this feature.

Welcome!

After entering a new password & then re-entering the same new password: the ?Automatically request password change every 180 days, activates, changes from grey; at that point, leave that blank/unchecked, select Save changes, in the next screen, enter (your) old, original password & select Continue - the new password is set & the   ?Automatically request password change every 180 days is not (see gif of process) - is that method not working? 

How to turn password expiration on or off

Please confirm?
