Changing parental controls

Recommended Posts

Just added the software, and unfortunately I didn’t click on the option to protect the parent’s account as well.   How do I change this now that everything is installed?  I can’t seem to find the right web page or settings page within the program.

Hello @jarrad15136

Thank you for the information in your earlier reply👏 , as KSK can be installed on 4 different OS, it helps us help you & absolutely no need to apologise!

So sorry for the delay😥 !

We’ve captured some images to help you - apologies for the quality, it’s very hard to make straight/clear pics unless screen printed directly.

The following applies:

  1. Windows (parent) must be Administrator (account).
  2. Windows (parent) must have a Windows password → missing in image 2.
  3. Windows (child) must be Standard/Local (account).
  4. Windows (child) should have a Windows password.
  5. The Parents account is not monitored, monitoring the parent account →  should not be “switched on” - image 1
  6. When the process is complete, you should see information as shown in image 3

Parent account is not monitored.

Parent account needs a Windows password

KSK Parent account, as seen when process is complete.

Please let us know what you see that’s not as per our images & information, if you’re able to include images it will be a big help please?

Thank you🙏
