Change kid that uses a device

I got a new phone for my older kid, and the younger one “inherited” the old phone.

 

How can I reassign the phone in Kaspersky Safe Kids - preferably without going through disable / uninstall / reinstall cycle?

• Unfortunately, the process is cumbersome, it’s necessary to delete the older child’s profile, and create a new profile for the younger child, that entails installing as if it was the first time.

Unfortunately, you must delete the original profile, which effectively “disables” KSK, the easiest way is to:

1. Uninstall KSK 
2. In (your) MyKaspersky account, delete the original profile.
3. Create a new profile
4. Clean install KSK
5. Configure KSK for your younger child. 

If the new profile age was older it would simply be a matter of changing the age template, however, your topic has highlighted an issue that needs to be addressed by Kaspersky, as it’s not uncommon for there to be younger children and shared/hand-me-down devices.

(ioo) it should be possible to make the changes to the KSK templates without having to do a full reinstall of the software.
