Can't update KLAdmin password from Security Center

I’m trying to update the KLAdmin password from Security Center, but some computers don’t recognize it.

I go to the policy that applies to that computer and set the password under General Settings >Interface > Password Settings and verify that it applies to the computer, or Force Synchronization.

When i go to the computer and try to Pause Protection, etc, it says the password is wrong. It works on most computers, but not all of them.

I think i could go to Safe Mode and try it from there, but I want to figure out why it won’t work the way it should.

These computers are communicating with KSC ?
Are these computers receiving the policy?
Are these computers in the same group as the other computers?
Do these computers have the same version of KES installed?

Yes to all questions except the groups. One group was working right, one wasn’t. I started moving computers to a new group and the password updates worked.
