It’s a floating Kaspersky shield that persists on all screens of my Android phone. It doesn’t do anything if I click it and if I drag it...it just snaps to a different edge. I can’t get rid of it. Thanks for your help.

Hello @Vinnym

Welcome!

Please share with us:

  1. Android version  & One UI version, refer: How to find the version of your operating system
  2. KIS version, refer: How to find the name and the version number of a Kaspersky application
  3. Read similar topic, raised by @Debra08Key & Shield floating over home page of Samsung S21
  4. Contact Samsung support, our discussions with them, they appear to have easy solution for this issue.
  • 💥 IF KIS is Premium license, not Free/Trial/Beta, log a request with Kaspersky support, select either Chat or Email, then select Application malfunction, Other template; support may request logs, traces, & other data, they will guide you.
  • 💥 If selecting Chat option, we recommend you request a copy of the chat transcript, make sure you fill in your email address AFTER the chat is activated by the Chat agent & complete the Verify your email address email AFTER the chat completes.

When it’s available, please share the outcome with the Community?

Thank you🙏

I figured it out myself.

On Android 12 open the settings, accessibility menu.

Find Kaspersky Internet Security and select it.

Turn off “Kaspersky Internet Security shortcut”.

It should be gone now.

Thanks.

Hello @Vinnym

You’re most welcome!

That’s not on by default, so, we guess  @ some stage, you’ve turned it on, good you’ve now turned it off.

Thank you for sharing🙏

Doesn't this solution disable KSK alltogether?

Hello @grendizer

No. As that setting  just removes KSK from the screen but KSK will be working quietly in the background.

Thank you
