We frequently receive the error message as per title. Does anyone know what causing this and how I can mitigate it?

We are running version 11.0.0.1131

Thank you for the information Adam, Kaspersky Security Center 11.0.0.1131 is on limit support. It's recommended to upgrade to a fully supported version.

However, you can try to apply patch B.
