Cannot uninstall Network Agent

Hello everyone,

We have a problem on some computers running under Windows 8.1 , the Network Agent (version 14.2.0) doesn't work and fails to uninstall (the password is correct) . Upon investigating , it turned out that the uninstall wizard cannot stop the Network Agent service because it keeps changing it's PID every second (or less) . We tried the cleaner.zip provided on a Kaspersky troubleshooting page but it gets stuck and never removes the agent.

Any solution would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hello,

if the service cannot be stopped for any reason start the computer in safe mode.
Then open the registry and navigate to 
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\klnagent
Set START to value 4 (which should be disabled)

Restart the computer, check if the service is running or not. If not do uninstall as usual with your password
