I cannot reach my web server from another device on my local network unless I disable the Kaspersky Firewall. Of course, I do not wish to disable it, I just want to allow port 443, but this proves the Kaspersky Firewall is responsible for blocking my connection.

I created an HTTPS packet rule that permits in/outbound TCP packets on port 443 to/from any address and moved the rule to the top of the list, but it still blocks. I cannot figure out why it is still blocked because the firewall logs ("reports") show nothing.

Did you try this ?

Kaspersky → SecurityFirewallPacket rules :

  • Local services (TCP) → Rightclick → Edit → Action : "Allow"  - Direction : Inbound/Outbound → Save
  • Local services (UDP) → Rightclick → Edit → Action : "Allow"  - Direction : Inbound/Outbound → Save
  • Reboot

What you are suggesting makes no sense whatsoever because my rules appears before these rules. Moreover, a reboot should not be required to modify the firewall. Nevertheless, I decided to try what you suggested anyway, and sure enough nothing happened.

Hi @Bilge,

can you please check how Kaspersky has categorized your Lan?
If it is a WLan, sometimes some rework is necessary.

The Lan must be set to at least ‘local’ to be able to access servers/other clients.
'Settings->Security settings->Firewall->Available networks'

My network connection is a physical Ethernet cable. The NIC is categorized as a Trusted network.
