Cannot access a website

Hi, There is a website that we are being stopped from accessing, When we choose the site and are diverted to a new Kaspersky secure page, the following message shows up:

This site can’t be reached

touch.kaspersky.com refused to connect.

Try:

• Checking the connection
• Checking the proxy and the firewall

ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome back!

1. IF the installed software is actually Kaspersky Total Security - it's Kaspersky's old version, it would be good to check the issue with Kaspersky's new release: Kaspersky Plus, the upgrade is free & is *like for like*, Kaspersky Plus can be downloaded from: https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads#update-product. Read: Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium - info & FAQ, by Danila T.
2. May we know the URL of the website that cannot be accessed - so it can be checked to see if the issue can be replicated? 
3. In Kaspersky Reports, are there any events for that website? IF 'yes' please post back a screen-image, showing the report? 
4. Does the same connection error happen in every supported browser: Edge, Firefox, Chrome? 
5. Clear the browser cache: Clear cache & cookies
6. Exit the browser.
7. Shutdown the computer using SHUTDOWN, not Restart, power the computer ON by pressing the power button, login, make sure Kaspersky is running. 
8. Start browser & recheck the website - does the same connection error repeat?
