Backwards compatability of licenses

Hello,

I'm currently using KTS and need to get a new license to replace my soon-to-be expired license.
However, I'm not quite ready to install the new edition of the software (standard/plus/premium) yet.

According to the FAQ, Plus is the equivalent of KTS.

What I'm wondering is if the Plus license will work with KTS?
I'm aware I won't have access to the VPN and some other features, which I don't really care about at the moment.

I just want to know if the Plus license will work and provide the same features as my existing KTS license. I haven't been able to find any confirmation for this.

Thanks

@Blah Welcome

The new products equivalent to the old products are:
Kaspersky Antivirus → Kaspersky Standard
Kaspersky Internet Security → Kaspersky Standard
Kaspersky Total Security → Kaspersky Plus (with Safe Kids and unlimited VPN)
Kaspersky Security Cloud → Kaspersky Plus (with Safe Kids and unlimited VPN)

The features that were available on KTS will also be present on K Plus.

KTS represents Kaspersky's legacy products and are no longer available for sale on Kaspersky's official website (except in a few countries like Poland for example)

On this page, you will also have a comparison showing the differences between each new subscription plan → Comparison of subscription plans

Hello,
Thanks for the response but I don't think it answers my question.

I'm aware of what the equivalent apps are, but my question is specifically about cross-compatibility of licenses.

Let me rephrase it:
If I purchase a new license for Plus, will that license work with my existing KTS installation?

For anyone running into a similar issue, the answer is no.

While KTS accepts the activation key for Plus, doing so will force KTS to automatically update to Plus without giving you a choice.
Existing settings/configs will carry over though.
