Application restart required, I check the “remember answer” box, notification continues to show every time databases are updated.

I frequently get a Kaspersky notification that an ‘Application restart is required’ to complete a database update. Every time I check the “remember answer” box, which I assume is intended to allow KIS to restart without my prompting but the notification continues to show every time databases are updated.

Is this a bug or am I misinterpreting the information?

Hello,

May I ask a simple question? Do you click the reboot button in KL product notification Center before you reboot your pc ?

The notification does not ask for a machine reboot; only a KIS application restart. It usually occurs after starting the computer and is preceded by a Windows notification that virus protection is not running.

I’ve reinstalled KIS as recommended by @Berny and will see it responds.
