App Lock pin got shorter

I had to reinstall Kaspersky and now App Lock only has a 4 digit PIN.  I haven't found how to get it back to a longer one.  4 digits is almost useless.

I've seen this with some other apps, is this a trend?  Can apps no longer handle numbers bigger than 9999?  Are we regressing to a 1 digit PIN?
