Hi There,

I have recently moved from iPhone to the OnePlus 13 running Oxygen OS 15 and after installing the APKs from the website and signing in, I am trying to enable the auto fill settings for my browser and it takes me into the accessibility settings and if I try to enable it, it immediately turns off.

I can't figure out how to turn it on. Any help would be appreciated.

This also applies for the VPN app and Kaspersky app

Hello @JDDawson

Welcome!

After selecting Turn on in Settings, (you) should be in the Accessibility menu, from there select Installed Services, select Kaspersky, toggle ON the Kaspersky app, then select Allow, (you) may need to also repeat the procedure for the Shortcut, when the second Allow has been applied the app will *automatically* return to the Kaspersky app, Safe Browsing window, from there - toggle on the Check links you open from other apps option as well.

Note - Kaspersky Plus & Kaspersky Premium (for Android) subscriptions, come with VPN combined.

Any problems or issues, please post back?

Thank you🙏

Hi There,

Thanks for coming back to me. So I have tried what you have suggested and I can't seem to get it to work. So after I tap on Turn on in settings, I then tap on downloaded apps, then select Kaspersky and then try to turn it on and when I do, it immediately turns back off.

I can turn on where it shows Shortcut but won't allow me to turn on the one that says Kaspersky. It has never redirected me back to the app.

Any suggestions?

Kind regards

Jack

Hum... try this: go to Android Settings -> Applications, find there Kaspersky -> Rights, check there Kaspersky rights, go on top right and tap in 3 vertical points, check / unlock there.

I'm not quite sure what I did but i managed to get the Kaspersky app enabled within the accessibility settings. I managed to allow the restricted access to the app when then allowed me to enable it within the accessibility settings.

However I have tried the same thing for the Kaspersky Password manager as it will not allow me to enable the accessibility setting for that to enable the autofill in browsers

Hello @JDDawson, Jack,

You're most welcome!
Thank you for posting (your) previous reply & this update! We're pleased to read the original issue is resolved. Well done, good work!

  1. Regarding both KPM & the AV, if there's no *specific* reason why (you've) selected to use the APKs, we'd recommend using the distributions from Huawei app store: Kaspersky Password Manager, Huawei. The APKs do not update automatically & (our observations) it appears there's been some variation in the versions available. Furthermore, (our observations) the distributions from Huawei have been more stable & reliable; it'd be interesting to see if the permissions issue repeats with the Huawei version.
  2. Specifically for KPM v9.2.108.32, we can't actually screen-print from KPM app, Kaspersky (quite rightly) has security restrictions to prevent this - but - selecting the three tiny dots in the circle icon, then selecting Settings, in the Autofill section, Browsers - Offer to fill in passwords in browsers - should be toggled ON & Apps - Autofill passwords in apps - should also be toggled ON ->(IF (you) wish to use both of those features).
  3. In the Android, Settings, Accessibility, Installed Services, Kaspersky Password Manager - (you) can't toggle ON KPM - but (you) can toggle ON the shortcut OR (you) can't toggle ON *both*?                                                 image.thumb.jpeg.21f08c5a45f61faae55c8981289cfd16.jpeg
  4. & did (you) follow the advice from @harlan4096?

Thank you🙏
