All files on external drive file extension change to rigd. What i need to do?

All file from the external drive has change their extension name to rigd file. 

I have Synology NAS  DS918 device connected to my pc that has total 8.0 tb data in that drive

all of a sudden my data file changed extension in rigd file. All the file in my computer local hard disk are safe only Synology drive file has changed their extension to rigd file.
