Curious which setting causes an error message when pressing the ALLOW button in the AIMP (v5.11.2432 x64) scrobbling feature that appears in the 1.jpg?

1.thumb.jpg.31312b3d63ac4ee576afc64779146cfe.jpg

can login if Kaspersky Standard v21.13.5.506(a) is paused, and AIMP looks different as in 2.jpg, manual link button has appeared.

if Kaspersky protection is active, scrobbling cannot be done because the scrobble results are not visible on the user profile last.fm. here is the error log:

Main 2023.07.27 13.22.01.285 D/Scrobbler: Last.fm: An answer is invalid: GIF89a € ÿÿÿ !ù , D ; method=artist.getinfo&api_key=XXXXXXXXXX&artist=XXXXXXXXXX&username=XXXXXXXXXXX&autocorrect=1

FYI, there is no AIMP restriction in kaspersky settings. including firewall settings, last.fm, audioscrobbler.net and audioscrobbler.com can be accessed. OS Windows 10 Pro 19045.3271 x64

scrobble issue also occurs in Spotify (latest Windows version, not Microsoft Store version). it seems this problem occurs in Kaspersky Standard, previously there was no problem in KIS

Can anyone help find a solution so that you can scrobbling again, of course not using the exclusion method. Thanks

sorry for my bad english :)

Welcome to Kaspersky Community.

Do You have enabled Anti-Banner and/or Private Browsing modules?

Posted

yes, both are enabled.

seems unable to scrobbling because the anti-banner is active, while the private browsing module has no effect.

if playing Spotify (open.spotify.com) on latest Firefox with the Kasperksy Protection extension active (both modules are also active), scrobbling has no problems. VLC media player also has a scrobbling feature, it doesn't affect if both modules are active ?

Ok, then You may consider adding an Exclusion to Anti-Banner module.

So, if You disable Anti-Banner it works?

What about to exclude the encrypted traffic of that application, example with VLC:

Via Application Control / Intrusion Prevention -> Manage Applications, find the app there, edit its rules -> tab Exclusions, then Save.

no, I mean VLC is fine. only AIMP and Spotify cannot scrobbling if anti-banner is enabled.

so, a temporary solution by activating DO NOT SCAN ENCRYPTED TRAFFIC. Hopefully in the future this problem can be fixed

I know VLC is fine, I posted that example with VLC as I don't use AIMP, but to apply a similar exclusion.
