Adding exclusions to IP address doesn't work for expired SSL

Recommended Posts

I'm using the Free version as I'm testing it before purchasing. I'm encountering this issue whenever I'm trying to connect to my workplace's VPN/Server as the SSL has expired. Its an IP address connected using OpenVPN. I've tried adding URL exclusions under Safe Browsing but this page still pops up every hour or so. What's the workaround or solution? Without Kaspersky, Google Chrome only prompts the SSL page once a day.

Welcome to Kaspersky Community.

Can you post a capture of the exclusion You added?

Sure, the 3 screenshots below are what I have done. The Kaspersky SSL page still prompts.

If I add the IP into trusted addresses, it causes Google Chrome to prompt the expired SSL page every 1-3 minutes instead of once a day which breaks workflow. Hence it's inactive.

Hum I see, but in those cases, I add the URL exclusions, in this module settings: NetWork Settings -> Scan Encrypted Connections -> Trusted Addresses

Yes I have tried that. And it causes Google Chrome to prompt the SSL invalid page every 1-2 minutes. Without Kaspersky, I didn't have this issue.

🤔 When creating exclusions in Network Settings -> Scan Encrypted Connections, please, remove all the previous exclusions...

Also, try to add masks this way: *URL domain without https:// nor / bars at the end*

How do I remove previous exclusions from this page?

Alright, thanks. Will try *URL* out.

When I told about removing previous, I meant, previous exclusions in the other modules -> Safe Browsing, URL Advisors, etc. of the URL or IPs affected with the issue...

Go to Configure Trusted Addresses...
