Dear Kaspersky Support,

I am currently experiencing an issue where adb.exe (Android Debug Bridge) fails to start properly on my Windows 11 system. I strongly suspect that Kaspersky Endpoint Security may be interfering with the process.

To investigate further, I attempted to enable dump logging as described in your documentation (https://support.kaspersky.com/keswin/11/en-US/158644.htm). However, the "Enable dump logging" option is grayed out and cannot be activated.

Here are the key symptoms I am facing:

  • adb.exe process hangs or crashes immediately upon execution.

  • The error log indicates a crash in ucrtbase.dll.

  • Other developers in my organization are also experiencing similar issues, which further suggests a conflict with Kaspersky.

Faulting Application Name: adb.exe, Version: 0.0.0.0, Timestamp: 0xdd5dfa32
Faulting Module Name: ucrtbase.dll, Version: 10.0.26100.4061, Timestamp: 0xc5be9f96

End Keswin App and check is the adb.exe is interrupted by Kaspersky or not , if it is interrupted by kaspersky in then you have to exclude the file location of adb.exe from keswin , go to policy then General settings then Scan Exclusion , you can do it from KSC or from kewin app directly from local machine
