Activation code not activating and renewing my service

Hi I have submitted my activation code many times now and now no longer have protection because it is not activating. I get a message pope up stating that the code has already been received but still no service. Not happy that I am now unprotected. Why has Kaspersky changed the way to submit the activation code? It clearly is  not as efficient as before.

Welcome back!

  • Which software has been purchased?
  1. IF it's Kaspersky Standard, Kaspersky Plus & OR Kaspersky Premium & any one of those subscriptions was purchased from a Kaspersky website - there is no Activation code - there's a License Key that's emailed to the Subscriber when the software is purchased. 

When the software is updated & OR freshly installed - the Subscriber needs to sign into the Kaspersky Standard, Kaspersky Plus & OR Kaspersky Premium *application* with the same email address that the License key was emailed to - so the *application* & the License Key stored in (your) MyKaspersky account *synchronise*. 

2. IF the Kaspersky Standard, Kaspersky Plus & OR Kaspersky Premium software was purchased from another provider - Kaspersky Amazon - for example - they still use Activation codes - so the *original* process - enter the Activation code into the application on the computer - still applies. 

3. Why did Kaspersky change the process - good question, they've given several answers -> (a) the majority of similar providers are using the method described in 1., (b) reduces pirating, (c) actually can't remember the third, from our perspective it's a PIA but Kaspersky have been deaf to user feedback on the issue.

Hi Flood and Flood's Wife

I have managed to get the subscription to work by going into mykaspersky and reentering the activation code for the gazillionth time. I then went to send to device and it finally connected!

What kind of kabuki is this when in the past all I had to do was click the bottom of the kaspersky app and enter my code and it was done!!

I had Kaspersky premium but my new subscription has come up as Kaspersky Standard. I just rely on my SIL as I buy it from my bro and Sil as they ran an internet service for years and always sold Kaspersky subscriptions and still do.

The new app doesn't have the old way of doing it and they sent me to a limited mykaspersky window to enter the code however there were no added instructions stating that I had to send it to my device hence it not connecting.
