About updating Kaspersky databases KSC 14.2

hey,

i have installed KSC 14.2, i want to make update throw a local folder,  then i configured a task download updates.

but the task didn't accomplish, it can't download the updates.

Tell me how and what updates you receive and place in the network folder for the task ... if I understand correctly this task of updating databases in the administration server storage?

if you use the utility to get offline copies of database updates, you may not have selected all the necessary components.

it is also possible that the server and the accounts from which the task is launched do not have access rights to the folder you specified

i use kaspersky update utility to download updates and i copied it on an extern disk, then i plug the disk on the KSC server.

is the management plugin for 12.1 installed on the KSC server itself?

show what error is obtained in the process of executing the task?

also check the time settings on your KSC server...

yes management plugin for 12.1is installed.

the task didn't accomplish with any errors. 

the time is correct.

There are hints in the help... try copying the updates to a local folder on the server instead of installing them from a removable drive, and make sure the folder structure is preserved

and once again make sure that these are exactly the packages, for KES they are produced in two forks (for different types of encryption) ...

the same problem. i have copied the updates on a local folder and  i create a new task "update database". the task can't import the updates.

Okay, I tried to reproduce your problem, got some errors... here's what to do to fix them.

1. I have selected all the products that I need to update to the system ...

indicated folders for storing temporary and ready-made databases, and also, in order not to download too much, indicated only EN localization

at the end of the download, I transferred the finished databases to the server ... the size of my databases was 2.80 GB (3,007,475,712 bytes)

 

2. In the server settings, cleared the current server storage, after removal, the list of databases must be empty

3. setting up the update task, specifying the source of the update in your folder

and also set the support mode for the old update scheme (important !!! without this setting, the task ends with an error)

4. ran the update task, it takes a few minutes... (in my case 28 minutes)

upon completion of the update task check that the list of databases is full and has an up-to-date date ...

The task to update client devices with KES installed is successful...

PS: I'm still having some issues with updating certain modules in the database, but hopefully this will be resolved with future updates. however, updates for all other products run successfully.

 I tried to reproduce to install again the kaspersky security  center 14.2, i thought the problen was with the version of sql server express 2022 then i installed SQL server 2022 developper.

the problem is resoluted now. thinks.
