A download has been denied . I wanted to know if once my free trial for Kaspersky security  expires will the malicious virus attack once again. Will the virus be able to infect my PC after my free Kaspersky trial expires?

Hi @bobo222 ,

Can you please give a bit more details? Click More Tools → Reports → on the left click ‘Web Anti-Virus’ → select the time ‘Week’ or ‘Month’ → find the event of blocking a download, click on it, make a screenshot and post here.

Hello @bobo222

Thank you for taking the time to post the image👌

  • Is it possible to please kindly re-post & include the full name of the blocked file or object →  by filtering the columns - rightclick in the column field & select Object column(s) or Restore default column set

Thank you🙏

Hi Flood, thanks for your instruction.

Another way to do it is to click on “Download denied” event and below will show up a window with more details, click on this window, scroll down and make a screenshot.

Thanks @Igor Kurzin

That too👌

Was just trying to retrieve a little more info, so you could assist @bobo222.

Of course if Kaspersky doc specialists published a generic “Working with Kaspersky (home AV) Reports” document, none of this would be necessary😉

Cheers!

Hi @bobo222

Most likely you will be fine after the trial version of Kaspersky Internet Security expires: the script was blocked.

I would recommend to reset Chrome as per instruction: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/3296214?hl=en

When you reset Chrome, you won't lose any bookmarks or passwords, but all your other settings will revert to their original conditions.

From my experience, scripts that can attempt to download something inappropriate can reside in Chrome settings/temporary files and/or certain extentions can attempt to download something ‘bad’.

Resetting helps to clean the browser completely.
