  1. Sorted now , followed these instructions in answer to a similar post. Make sure Windows Hidden files, is checked/ticked, refer: View hidden files and folders in Windows? Open Kaspersky app, select Settings⚙, select General, uncheck Enable Self-Defense, select Save, select Yes - to confirm the action. Exit Kaspersky app - on the Windows taskbar or hidden icons, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select Exit. Go to folder C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP21.3\Report\ and delete the contents = all files and folders. Start Kaspersky app. Enable Self-Defense. Shutdown the computer, using Shutdown, not Restart, power on, login. Re-check the issue? Now I wonder what is stored in this report folder to cause this issue and why it happened.
  2. Recently My Kaspersky total security has stopped some programs connecting to the internet, the ones I have noticed so far are as follows Google Chrome browser, Google Earth pro and Realplayer. I am using Windows 10 Version 22H2 and my Kaspersky total security version is 21.3.10.391 (j). if I enable "Web anti virus, Mail anti virus, Network attack blocker, or firewall. The programs are unable to access the internet. If disable these items, programs still cannot access the internet until I Disable then re-enable windows firewalls. This is the only way that these programs can access the internet. Turning off the windows firewalls prior to enabling the Kaspersky protections make no difference. All worked fine previously. I am unsure if any updates have been the cause but I have removed updates that have occurred since it all worked ok. My protection is currently greatly reduced to get back functionality, any idea's appreciated? Thanks.
