  1. Thank you for your response. I had misunderstood the scope of this functionality. Other VPN products have a true bypass for sites on a whitelist. It is useful when a specific site needs to be accessed without a VPN (due to blockage or other inconveniences). This has become a greater problem due to the bad press Russian companies have accumulated. Kaspersky's VPN hubs have been blacklisted in more than one site. But I now understand the function in Kaspersky Secure Connection works differently, as a simple switch to turn it on. Any other maneuver needs to be done manually. Thank you. Regards.
  2. Dear customer, Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us about your issue. We understand you are having issues with the Kaspersky Secure Connection application. Please note that Kaspersky Secure Connection rules for Websites only applies to enabling when certain sites are visited. There is no rule to Disable secure connection when certain sites are visited The option to Enable secure connection- means Kaspersky enables a secure connection when you visit the specified website. For example, you can configure the application to enable a secure connection when you visit the website of your bank. The option to Ignore- means Kaspersky does not enable a secure connection when you visit the specified website. So if Kaspersky Secure Connection is already enabled, if you visit a site that is set to ignore this doesn't mean it will disable the secure connection. We will however escalate this to our experts as a recommendation. We hope this clarifies. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience. We remain at your disposal. Thank you and have a nice day! Regards Chipo | Kaspersky Lab Technical Support
  3. Thanks to you both. I have opened a service ticket asking for assistance. It might be an issue with the newer version. Never tried the whitelist in the previous ones.
  4. It’s definitely all or nothing. I worked backwards. I inserted one site in the whitelist, so that it turns on the secure connection. With connection off, i access the site… the VPN secure connection does in fact turn on… but alas… not only for that site. From that moment, It’s on for every site and connection.
  5. I’ve tried different sites, with several browsers… the result is the same. The whitelist seems inactive. In all cases, the VPN still active. For some reason there is no bypass. Thanks
  6. Thanks for the quick answer. I found the window… although the screen looks different in the new version. I’ve added the exclusion… but it does not work. If Secure Connection is on, it seems to apply also to the site included in the list. I just tried now.. Does it automatically included all subfolders of the listed site? I also wonder if this function works inversely. That is, Secure Connection needs to be off, and this list will turn it on selectively.
  7. Hello. Secure Connection works very nicely. It seems airtight. But I need to connect directly to a specific site, not via KSC. Is there a way to “whitelist” a site, in such a way that when connecting to that site the browser will connect directly (using the normal, local, open connection) and not via Secure Connection? Whitelisting exists in Kaspesky internet security.. but I do not find the option in Secure Connection. Thanks.
