KSC Network Agent Installation errors: "Setup Wizard cannot process the command line", "Setup wizard cannot process the internal error." [KSC for Windows]

Scenario
Administrator tries to install Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent (klnagent).
One of the errors occur:
Setup Wizard cannot process the command line
Failed to definitely identify the status of the installed application. Remove the application manually or use the setup wizard
In case of standalone package, installation error might be a little different:
Setup wizard cannot process the internal error
When looking closely to $klnagent-setup* logfile, the following error is found:
27.10.2025 13:59:12.004 00000B14.000007B8 L1 KLERR: #1, Error was caught in CInstaller::PreInstall, c:\a\c\g_4b8zduag\r\product\osmp\ksc\dev\install\wix\setup\installer.cpp@688. Error params: (1181/0x648 ("System error 0x648 (Propriedade desconhecida.)"), "KLSTD", c:\a\c\g_4b8zduag\r\product\osmp\ksc\dev\common\installer\install_utils.cpp@609) Error loc: ''.
This means there are some remains of the Network Agent in registry that need to be cleared for successful installation.
Troubleshooting steps
Collect data
Export the whole Computer registry branch and provide $kl* install log files.
1. Press Win+R on the keyboard.
2. Type regedit and click OK.
3. Right click on Computer → Export
4. Save as type: Registration files (*.reg)
5. Please collect the GSI report, run utility as Administrator, Include Windows Event Log. Find the detailed steps here: https://support.kaspersky.com/3632#block1
Analysis and troubleshooting
1. Make sure $klnagent-setup-<timestamp>.log contains System error 0x648:

2. Search the registry file for any occurrences of Kaspersky Network Agent or Kaspersky.
Search only at:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer -
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Installer

You will find either of:

3. Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\UpgradeCodes and search for 5E4E50F098A5C284A92674CC85467388 or 42FC4FCBBA881E546A6E048C72A8075C
Delete the found registry branches:

These entries can be in user portion of Windows registry so the search should be performed in the whole registry. It might be that Network Agent removal tool cannot delete entries from registry, this is why this manipulation is required.
Once all such entries are deleted, Network Agent installation should be successful.
