Windows Restore Point Failures

Kaspersky prevents system restores from completing, at least since the v19 release, even with it shut off / disabled.

After uninstalling, the restore completed ok.

but it also did not detect something that i picked up within an hour of noticing this...

iyfnzgb.com  which is a redirect virus. Not sure where i got it, no unusual websites visited.. had to be site cross scripting crap.
Fixed by doing a backup of needed stuff then wiping the drive and doing a fresh os install.
