Windows Defender Service still running in Win 11 22H2

Hi so i recently switched to windows 11 22H2, fresh setup.

Installed my third party Antivirus (Kaspersky) and windows defender service is still running.

When i go to security settings, the provider is set to Kaspersky and the periodic scan of windows defender is disabled (those settings are the correct ones).

 

So, why is still the windows defender service being executed and consuming 100 mbs ?

I believe this issue didn't happen in Windows 10.

Is this the default behavior?
