why vpn suddenly became slow?

why vpn suddenly became slow? it was 30+ average mbps days ago now its around 5 when I checked on speedtest.net

this happened after some driver updates on windows 10
- 2021-KB4598299 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10

- Intel Corporation - Display - 26.20.100.7325 (6)

- ASUS - System - 1.0.0.13

- Intel Corporation - Display - 26.20.100.7325 (3)

 

then restarted my laptop

 

 

application version: 21.2.16.590 (b)
connections are: PH and Singapore
Windows
still have 143GB free

 

 

turning off the VPN, my default connection is 25 mbps on average
