Your question is not easy to answer.
On the one hand, Anti-Banner can make sure that your data volume is not burdened unnecessarily.
On the other hand, it can also increase security, since banner advertising has already been used to deliver malware. In addition, banners may set tracking cookies, which could breach your privacy.
You have to make up your own mind about the risks. Anti-banner yes or no. Some sites do not work properly with Anti-Banner activated - in this case your decision is necessary.

in my experience with this component a few years ago, I don’t find it any better than regular ablockers, even worse and buggier (I had trouble accessing some websites with anti-banner)

 

IMHO, use a good adblocker (ublock origin, adguard) and fortify it with third-party rules found on filterlists.com. It will perform better than anti-banner without decreasing browsing performance
